Kemi Akinola is a dynamic leader in the UK’s hospitality and community sectors, serving as the Founder and Chief Executive of Be Enriched, a South London-based charity dedicated to reducing social isolation through food. Under her guidance, Be Enriched has launched innovative projects like the Food Bus, a mobile greengrocer and community space that brings affordable, nutritious food to areas experiencing food insecurity.
In addition to her role at Be Enriched, Kemi is the Deputy Leader of Wandsworth Council and the Cabinet Member for the Voluntary Sector, Business, and Culture. Her leadership in these positions underscores her commitment to fostering community cohesion and supporting local enterprises.
